QotD: On Second Thought...

Comments

Last time I went in to vote for our federal election, I hadn't decided. I was down to 2 options, but just picked one. I feel like, had I gone in an hour earlier, or an hour later, my decision could just of easily have been different. Rarely is there a candidate that you can back wholly...
You make a great point. You can hardly find a canidate who you can completely back 100%.

It's really hard to choose sometimes. I like Obama but there's stuff that I don't like about him, too. But I've actually lost a lot of respect for Clinton since her husband started shooting his mouth off. Having Bill start crap keeps her "clean" while still talking shit, and I don't like it. Then again, that's politics. If she ends up being the candidate she'll probably get my vote, but I'm hoping Obama pulls through...

I think Bill knows that he has made things worse. I don't think it was a campaign move...I think that's just who he is. It's probably hard for him to step out of the light while his wife takes over. I think he's going to shut up as people are really knocking his obnoxious behavior.

I would believe that if it were just a few off hand comments. But considering it's been going on for weeks now, it's hard for me to believe that it's not deliberate on the part of the campaign. Bill really hadn't said much until she lost the primary in Iowa... I think they were saving him for something just like this. But it's definitely backfired on them and only made the both of them look really bad.

Politics is so dirty, blah.

You know, around here, meaning Minnesota not Vox, sometimes I feel like I'm the lonely democrat in a sea of Republicans. Some days it doesn't matter and some days it feels like hell.
