The seventh season of "American Idol" premieres tonight.  Will you be watching, or are you over it?

 

I'm not only over it, I'm dreading it. That's all you'll hear about for the next few months. I don't start listening in until it gets down to 5. Then I try and at least know who is in the competition. This way I have something to talk about to my co-workers.

I'm so over reality television. Blech.

Where is the farthest you have ever been away from home? Did you get homesick?

I've been to Hawaii, the Bahamas, Mexico...but only for short periods of time so I wasn't homesick. However, I'm living 1910.24 miles away from my family and friends at the moment and that makes me homesick. I guess it all depends on where home really is. I have my home in Minnesota with my small family. However, home is still California where my parents, sisters, and friends live. It's where I grew up and feel the most attachment too. I consider Minnesota my physical home, and I love it enough so that eventually it might become my home, home. This is getting a little morbid, but perhaps when my parents are no longer in California I might not be so apt to call it my home.
