How are you celebrating St. Patrick's Day?
Well. I did wear green. That's about as far as it went. Both Mike and Nate are sleeping and I'm about to join them. Not the most festive holiday this year.
What one object/thing would you take if your house were on fire?
My purse.
Who or what do you really love?
I love my friends
I love my family
I love my iTouch
I love God
I love LIFE!
What do you do when you find yourself with nothing to do?
Submitted by Cassie.
I don't think I've had a moment like that in a long time. Normally I take time to write on here because I have too much to do and I'm ignoring it. Same with my crocheting. I'll do that even though I have a ton of other things to do but I'm just too stressed out to really give it any attention. Like tonight, I need to clean the kitchen and I will, but I'll probably only do what I have to instead of giving it a really good cleaning because I'll be spending more time on here and doing crafts.
You have to play a little bit or you'll go insane. Especially when Mike's going to be working late again tonight. I'll be lucky to get the dishes done.
What is your favorite scent or smell and why?
Submitted by Nebraska Plates.
I have a few favorite smells. I would guess that my first would be coffee followed closely by my husbands cologne. Not too far behind is the smell of plumeria (if I were ever going to tattoo a flower on my body it would be this one...as a side note). I actually think about this question a lot. I would hate to lose my ability to smell. That would be quite a bummer indeed.
Do you plan on giving up anything for Lent?
I was thinking about giving up cheese. Being as dairy isn't healthy for my lactose intollerant body I should probably go with that. I think I'm going to give up extra calories. I think that sounds better all around. This way I'm not over indulgent and I'll think twice before I cheat because I'm giving up extra calories for Lent.
If you had to live one day of your life over and over again, which would you choose?
Hands down I'd live my wedding day over and over again. That was an awesome day! I saw so many of my friends and family and had my husband by my side the entire time. It was so much fun dancing, drinking, and eating...not to mention taking fun pictures and being silly. Everyone I know said it was either THE BEST or one of THE BEST weddings they had ever been to.
Have you ever had a premonition about something that came true?
Submitted by Sheri.
I was actually sitting on the couch last night thinking I had a dream about that very moment. It was right before the Giants won the Superbowl and I was thinking "Wow, I remember this! The Giants are going to make this touchdown and win!"
Too bad I didn't remember that before and place a nice bet on it.
This actually happens to me a lot. De Ja Vu or something like it.
What are 10 things you want to say out loud but you can't?
Submitted by alix.
1. Pick up your own crap, I'm not your mother.
2. Stop being so undecided about everything, you're paid to make decisions.
3. You're a racist jerk. Stop making decisions on what people look like.
4. I'm not your pawn, this is not a game.
5. How about you keep your nose out of my job and let me do what I'm paid to do?
6. If we don't make people more responsible for their actions this will never work here.
7. You are a devious liar...and you know it!
8. Just remember, you put yourself in this position.
9. Stop talking. We don't care.
10. You shouldn't smoke pot. You can't handle taking care of your child when you do.
Do you think real love can last throughout any distance, or will long distance end most relationships?
Submitted by Miss Joy.
Oh, just like everything else it just depends. Depends on the people involved, the distance, the amount of time apart, the friends they have, the influences they go though...it all depends.
What the heck does real love even mean? Every time I was in love it was real. It may not have been real smart...but it felt real to me at the time. Sorry, random bitching.
I've had two long distance relationships. One was a disaster and the other I ended up happily married to. It's not easy, it's not for everyone, it's not ideal. However, sometimes it is necessary.
